How to protect our environment
As we all know that our living environment is in trouble! Almost every day we seem to hear of serious problems affecting the environment----waste, The Ozone Layer, The Greenhouse Effect, pollution, acid rain, the extinction of species of animals and plants and so on.
In view to the list of the threats, measures have to be made to make our environment better. That is to say we have to find a way of solving the problems before our environment will suffer even more. Every one of us, whatever age we are, we can do something to help slow down and repair some of the damage. Here are some ideas to help protect our environment.
First, we are responsible for the clean environment of our cities. We should get out of the bad habits of throwing away rubbish everywhere, spitting and smoking in public, scrawling on the wall and so on.
Second, make our surrroundings tidy and clean. It requires us to get into a good habit of keeping ourselves clean and keep our house and yard clean as well.
Besides, it is strongly suggested that we should take buses more instead of driving cars. And another surpring good news is that the less we eat meat, the better our environment will be.

其次，清洁我们身边的环境。这就要求我们做到养成良好的个人卫生习惯，清扫室内外卫生等。
除此以外，强烈建议大家少开车多坐公交车。另一条振奋人心的好消息是少吃肉环境就会变得更好。
