金塘风电场一期工程项目是《浙江省风电发展“十二五”规划》和市重点建设项目之一，计划安装17台单机容量为1500KW的风力发电机组，建成后，预计年发电量可达6000万千瓦时。目前，工程已完成2座基础浇注。
